At the foot of the eternal hill of Vézelay, in the heart of Burgundy, La Sauvage distils artisanal spirits like no other.
The botanical Gins , liqueurs and eaux-de-vie are made from wild plants picked less than 50 km away in the Vézelien and the Morvan—in organic gardens and preserved natural areas.
Everything is distilled slowly in old copper stills, over a wood fire. Come visit us in Asquins to discover our stills, taste our 8 spirits and leave with a bottle that tells the story of a territory.

Each spirit created at La Sauvage represents an expression.
An expression of the surrounding landscapes, forests, gardens... The recent classification of the Grand Site de Vézelay highlights the quality of the landscapes, their maintenance and the great biodiversity preserved here.
Spirits become panoramas, open and deep, dark forests, resinous, rooted. Intimate, instinctive, constantly moving drinks, revisited. Each recipe becomes an expression of a world, that of Vézelay.
